Description

Give Yourself 5! is an app that in times of being anxious or fighting off a panic attack may be able to help. It offers some suggestions in the way of grounding techniques, affirmations or little things you can do to lift your spirits.
Sometimes suggestions may appear twice, why not do them again? If not, just skip past them with the generate button. We've kept the app simple, there's nothing worse than being overwhelmed during stressful times.
Grounding techniques are a great way to counteract anxiety or anxiety and panic attacks by focusing on something else.
Positive affirmations are a nice way to remind ourselves that we are worth it when depression or anxiety tells us differently.
Spirit lifters or mood lifters offer some ideas that you may not have thought about. Things you can do when depression takes over or when you feel the black dog slowly walking towards you. Treat yourself, doesn't have to cost money - just look after yourself first.
There is a resource page with contact details or web addresses. These were based in Australia, however, there are small distraction sites and sites that have forums; which you should be able to use no matter where you're based.
We hope that this app helps you / your mental health, at least once. Be strong. Your mental illness doesn't define you.
