Description of HeadUp

HeadUp is an app that helps you analyse, manage and improve your overall health and fitness.
Sync your Fitbit or Garmin to HeadUp and see your personalised human dashboard come to life. We analyse and rate your mind, heart, sleep, weight and activity to help you understand your body and take control of your health.
CONNECT YOUR FITBIT OR GARMIN TO REVEAL YOUR HUMAN DASHBOARD.
Just like the dashboard of your car tells you when the fuel tank is empty, or the engine needs oil, or whatever cars need (it’s a mystery to us), your human dashboard tells you where you are and where you need to be across 5 categories of health and fitness: mind, heart, sleep, weight and activity. All you have to do is sync your Fitbit or Garmin with HeadUp and we take care of the rest. If you wear a different type of device, never fear – we’re working to integrate all wearable device types.
MENTAL HEALTH EXISTS OUTSIDE OF YOUR DEVICE DATA – THE 5PM CHECK-IN.
You’ll receive notifications from us to do mood check-ins – we want to know how you’re feeling. Please don’t hold back. Annoyed at your next-door neighbour? In love? Craving nachos? Tell us everything! We combine your mood data with your device data to show you how your physical and mental health are related.
SCIENCE-BASED PERSONAL INSIGHTS!
There’s so much hype in the tech world about tracking health. How many steps am I taking? How long am I sleeping? What’s my heart rate? But what do these numbers actually mean? Well, that’s why we love our 3.472 data scientists (most of the time). They trawl though your device digits to figure that out. They put your data under the microscope and zoom in. When they see something you need to know, we feed this information into your dashboard in the form of personal, actionable insights, so that you can make the changes you need.
TRULY TRANSFORM.
Maybe you’ve always wanted to turn your mindset around to focus on what you have, rather than what you don’t have. Eat better and move more. Increase your VO2max or sleep more deeply. It's one thing knowing what you want to achieve – and another knowing how to get it. This is exactly why we’re here. Think of the app as your space to learn more about the most important person in your life: you. And to discover all the evidence-based ways you can improve the life you lead.

Was working brilliantly but since 23 August, it hasn't registered any sleep or heart data so I'm in the yellow when I've been sleeping like a baby! Please sort it.

Also having the low RHR and bradycardia warning, yet on another screen see's my intense and moderate activity levels are very high and steps are high etc. It seems a lot of this app has one side not talking to the other. Ultra runner, 3 years of data in Garmin yet it declines to give me any real info. Edit. Yes I've read the faq. Still doesn't answer the question

I go to the gym alot and I am quite muscular. I think there should be an option to add what kind of body type you are. Unfortunately it is saying that I have a high BMI. I have to be honest, it is rather discouraging because I feel that is not accurate.

Very helpful app to better understand and interpret the info overload from my fitness device. And the confidence boost is always welcome!

So much potential with this app but it's been downhill over the last few weeks/months. Not capturing the data from my fitbit, not being able to work out VOmax, not being able to distinguish between low heat beat which requires medical attention and a low heart beat from being fit. As I say, so much potential but I think I'll leave the party now but I will be back should it be fixed.
