We are excited to bring the community the myVLC Guide application for Android. Now while there may be many apps, websites and travel agencies that offer all the information you may need about visiting and/or living in Valencia, we wanted to go a slightly different route.
While many apps for Android and iOS, among other platforms, are focused mainly at tourists, the myVLC Guide primarily concentrates at providing information for the local and expat community living in the "Communidad Valencia", calling this piece of Spain their home.
Our guide features listings that include manually vetted places, that often are not listed elsewhere. An example being playgrounds. Larger parks may be listed in an online search but the playground around the corner to someone may be something completely new for a different family who otherwise would have never stumbled across it. That is what we focus on.
We want to bring the community closer together by sharing information, places, and opportunities that you would otherwise perhaps not find.
This is only the beginning and we have many more improvements in development. Nonetheless, we always appreciate your feedback and if you find the app useful would love if you shared it with others in your community.
Together we can build a database of verified listings across this beautiful community.
