INTRODUCTION
Itaxi is a locally developed heatmap application , using GPS to show passengers location on nearby taxi drivers application. This is not a booking application, therefore no booking fee payable by passengers.
HOW ITAXI WORK
When passenger need a taxi by the roadside or at a taxi stand, with a press of button on passenger application, the passenger location will be sent by GPS and appear on all nearby drivers application.
Passengers will also be abled to see available taxis nearby.
BENEFITS FOR PASSENGERS
Itaxi will definitely reduce passengers waiting times for taxis on the road.
Especially for passengers who need a taxis in the early morning when there are lesser taxis on the road.
Even during high demand and long queue in a certain taxi stand, when all passengers activate Itaxi app, taxi drivers nearby will be alerted and therefore more taxis will proceed to the taxi stand.
