This ring of earthquake activity is about 38.000 km and includes the west coasts of Central America and South America, Alaska to the upper north of the USA, Japan, The Philippines, China, Australia and Indonesia.
A seismic zone witch goes from The Caucasus and the Mediterranean to the Himalayas and Burma has about 14% of the worlds earthquake activity.
