Daily Calcium is an app for calculating the amount of calcium which anyone get from his daily food. It is available in two languages both English & Bengali. The app contains most of foods which are commonly taken by our Bangladeshi peoples. The foods are classified in nine categories. Every food category contains some foods which are matched with that category. We have given the food quantity as 100 gm for every solid food and 100 ml for liquid food. For adding the food quantity 100 gm need to click on the plus sing, which is given at the right side of that individual food and for every plus sign click, it will add 100 gm more. If anyone want to add other amounts which are not multiple of 100 gm than should click on the name of that food and then another window will open & need to click ( ) sign for add more or (-) sign for reduce the amount of that food and then need to click update to add that particular amount (multiple of 50 gram).
If anyone want to remove any food item should click on the added food name than another window will open than by pressing (-) sign need to make it 0, then need to press remove. Anyone can add many kinds of food for calculation. The total amount of calcium intake will be shown at the down of the window and by clicking on the “tap for details” it will give the final result and will show your current calcium intake as well as your additional or excess calcium intake. This window will also show the tall food which was selected and any food can be removed for here by clicking (X) sing of the right side of that food. It is also possible to add more foods by clicking back button of the upper left side. It is also possible to clear all the selected food items at a time by clicking “clear” button.
