According to
new Finance Bill from Income Tax Department, Govt. of India,it is now compulsory to provide Aadhaar and permanent account number (PAN) details while filing tax returns and Aadhaar, Permanent Account Number(PAN) must be linked. In case, they are not linked, then the PAN number will get cancelled. The Rule is going to be applicable from 1st July 2017, therefore every PAN card holder must link his PAN card with Aadhar card.
With the use of "Link Aadhar to PAN" app you can link your PAN card with Aadhar card easily & quickly.
