The purpose of this application is to demonstrate the pace at which you should train in order to place enfaces on the eccentric part of the moment.
Eccentric training involves lengthening the muscle fibres back out and lowering the weight down slowly.
Lowering the weight down slowly causes more micro-tears in the muscle than standard methods of resistance training and therefore can lead to increased strength and muscle mass.

New: Max eccentric seconds field:
Eccentric Pace ensures that a training set is completed around 60 seconds. In other words, if you are performing 6 reps, the application will count 1 second on the lift and 9 seconds on the eccentric (lowering of the weight), totalling 60 seconds.
You can now override this. For example, If you enter 4 in the "Max eccentric seconds" field, then the eccentric countdown will only be 4 seconds.
