The 9th Annual Women’s Wellness Celebration (WWC), Mental Health Matters: Opening Eyes. Opening Minds., is aimed at bringing awareness to mental health issues faced by adolescent girls and women. Local policy makers, social workers, and nonprofit organizations will hold workshops on the mental health impact of violence against women, bullying, and low self-esteem. Together, we will openly discuss how we as a community can improve access to mental health services by exploring ways in which effective, integrated models of behavioral health care may be provided to address mental health issues for adolescent girls and women.
