Beware of stress! Modern life is full of deadlines and demands. If you have a stressful lifestyle or job, it can lead to stress-related illness such as anxiety disorders/panic attacks and insomnia.
You can protect yourself by recognizing the signs and symptoms of stress and taking steps to
reduce its harmful effects.
In this free app, there´s a character, Deva, who will teach you great breathing exercises with a breath counter. Then, she will ask you if you´re prepared for the following exercise. If you´re not, she will guide you until you feel better.
There are three levels of exercises:
-First level: you have to inhale for 4 seconds through nose and exhale for 4 seconds through nose.
-Second level: you have to inhale for 6 seconds through nose and exhale for 6 seconds through nose.
-Third (last level): You have to inhale through nose for 8 seconds and then exhale through nose for 8 seconds whilst slowly saying “Ommmmm” and then we continue by saying “Shanti” 3 times. This last exercise is really effective to relieve stress and slow down.
If you have Panic Attacks:
When you feel like drowning and you can´t catch your breath, this relaxing exercises can be very useful.
You can discretely handle your panic attack anytime, anywhere!
If you suffer from Insomnia:
You can repeat these exercises until you feel relaxed enough to fall asleep.
The more you use the app the more effective it will be.
