Yoga
It is a discipline in which the body is grown, mind, and soul. Yoga was born in India and is a very common practice of meditation in Hinduism.
Types of Yoga: They are actually the branches of yoga. These types of yoga have the same goal the union of body and mind and are as follows:
• Bhakti Yoga
• Hatha Yoga
• Japa Yoga or Yoga mantras
• Jnana Yoga
• Karma Yoga
• Tantra Yoga
• Laya Yoga or Kundalini Yoga
• Raja Yoga
• Kriya Yoga
• Sahaja Yoga
• Anusara Yoga
• Kripalu Yoga
• Air Yoga
Postures Yoga: Yoga postures, called asanas, are exercises that unite the body and mind. Not consist of imitating a certain position, but on achieving balance and concentration at that point, with proper breathing.
To practice yoga postures is important to consider three factors:
• Immobility
• Relaxation
• The duration
Postures are:
• Loto
• The cat
• The boy
• The dog
• Frog
• The Cobra
• Sailing
• The chair
• The warrior
• The fish
• Cow
• Sun Salutation
Yoga and Breathing: In yoga is very important to consider breathing, as through breathing is like relaxation is achieved, and with it meditation.
