It has no lootboxes, energy bars, overpriced cosmetics, content locked behind endless microtransactions, or other modern monetization schemes. Just a few unobtrusive and removable ads, and completely optional in-app purchases, for those who wish to support the game and its development.

This game is a shining example how you don't always need fancy graphics to make a great game. It has a dark, interesting storyline filled with many side quests and there is a nice variety of weapons, items, skills and spells to use. The music is quite nice, too, which includes some catchy battle tunes! *I started playing this last month and I am slowly edging closer to the Tear!! 😲

I'm loving the snot out of this. Nice and chill, fantastic blend of art styles, and an almost (but not quite) punishing learning curve to make it fun. A great change of pace! Edit: it apparently has lock-up issues on Samsung devices, as a result of its engine; it's a shame, because I really love this game!!

I didn't understand why I, level one adventurer, should be paying for the city mercenaries. Either I missed something, or the "voluntary citizens contributions" should be something that is introduced when the character has leveled up a little, with text explaining the need. Little bit too much wall of text, especially in the beginning, when simply trying it out. Seems otherwise very good so far. Seems like a real labor of love by the developer (with added sweat blood and tears?)

Great classic-style RPG with lots of challenge and a huge dose of nostalgia. Just enough extra mechanics to keep things interesting, but still very much a game out of the past! Recommended: I'm definitely going to be playing this for a while.

Not a bad game at all and worth it if you don't mind dungeon crawlers with a slight grind. Only thing that bothers me is in-app purchases don't carry over to new saves. Spent $20 on the rogue set and killed 3 of the bosses and wanted to try a fresh start only to find the in-app purchase is only pertinent to that save file. Beyond that, the background picturescould use more diversity and definition and maybe some gameplay additions.

I really like this game because of it's design and basically everything else about it I've been trying to find some rpgs to pass some time and this is it all you have to do is tap around and kill monsters it's just that easy I mean all of the negative reviews are just lame reasons or just some actually problems but he's made this game by himself so what more can you get other than some bugs and a great game?
