HIV infection is no longer a death sentence but a chronic manageable disease like hypertension or diabetes. The availability of generic anti-HIV medicines, also known as antiretroviral therapy or ART has changed the overall outcome of the disease.
Adherence refers to regular consumption of prescribed ART medication at correct time. Suboptimal adherence leads to development of antiretroviral resistance and worsening of health, ultimately leading to death. This free to use mobile app is an innovative initiative to promote optimal adherence. This friendly app reminds the user for timely consumption of medicines by triggering an alarm at designated time.

How to use the app features:
Profile: Set your profile by clicking on the profile icon at the right lower corner and feed personal info such as Gender/Age/Weight/ART start date etc.

The medication reminder alarm will buzz at the time that you have set.  The user needs to take his/her pill and press the take button whenever reminder alarm rings. The application will acknowledge timely consumption of medication on doing so.
Adherence percentage: You can check your compliance rate to ART medications in the adherence percentage section of the home screen.
Calculator: The calculator function is useful for knowing Body mass Index (BMI) and Creatinine clearance rate. Please note that the abnormal lab values will be highlighted.
