FiLMiC is the leader in mobile video imaging technology. Our mission is to democratize filmmaking, mobile journalism and videography.
This free evaluator app will help you decide if FiLMiC Pro is right for you. It analyzes your device’s camera framework to determine its capabilities. By scrolling through the list of features in the evaluator you will see which are supported by FiLMiC Pro on your exact device.
FiLMiC Pro pushes your device's video capture capabilities to the limit by enhancing the native camera sensor's functionality with additional control over quality, audio, and frame rate and enabling the use of high quality cinema capture hardware such as the Moondog Labs Anamorphic Adapter or 35mm lens adapters.

I don't believe this app is actually "evaluating" anything. It's likely just using a database look up that someone at filmic manually creates. Case in point: Filmic Pro is barely functional on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, yet this evaluator insists everything is just perfect! Things like Manual Focus, 60fps, 240fps.. Evaluator says "yes" but when you use the actual app, none of that works. Going to 60 fps on the Note20u hard crashes the app and manual focus is completely non functional.

Truly uninformative app. With only a basic yes/no answer in the abilities available tabs, there is no possible way to discover if your phone will have the in-app capabilities advertised by the creators. That, coupled with the "We don't have to care about your inability to make use of our products" and "Hahaha! You wasted your money and time and it's NEVER our fault/responsibility to produce an app which works on Android phones," the red flag and warning bells tell me NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT. 🤬

This would be great if it actually showed you what options the app has available with your phone. It actually shows you what the phone is capable of but not what the software is capable of. If you're wanting to use an accessory (like a gimble) it works great. If you're wanting to get the full use out of your phones camera like the app intends, proceed carefully.
