Heart Rate Social was created by longtime technology professional and avid health-enthusiast, Christopher VanBerg, who saw the need for such an app and realized a city as fit and health-conscious as Austin was the perfect place to launch. "The idea came to me when I was single and using the normal dating apps, constantly seeing people who drink in all their photos, or who don't take their health seriously," said Christopher VanBerg.
