The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), developed by Aron T. Beck in 1961, is a 21-item self-assessment scale that measures the characteristic symptoms of depression. The application takes about 10 minutes to complete. Designed for people aged 13 and over. The test, first developed in 1961, was revised in 1978 and 1996.
