This demo app circumvents the need for password when creating a new account in Azure B2C. For user registration it uses OnFido to verify user document (Drivers license...) as step 1 of MFA. Step2 of the MFA uses the webAuthn standard which requires an Authenticator device that generates a public/private key pair that the user uses to sign an attestation from the server and register the public key with the server. The login involves the authenticator signing an assertion with the private key and the server verifying the signature using the public key generated during registration.
