The detox juice diet has become very popular in recent years as an easier way to consume many nutrients without having to eat a lot of whole fruits and vegetables.
Green juices are my favorites, I avoid fouling a lot of fruit due to the high sugar content.
My top tip is to drink your juice first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Vitamins and minerals are more easily absorbed on an empty stomach. If you can, drink your fresh juice.
The contact with oxygen depletes nutrients. If you need to store your juice, I recommend a dark glass container to the air in the refrigerator.
