The RotaFamApp is for research purposes and is accessible to a select number of participants. During the study we ask you to keep a digital diary daily RotaFamApp about the symptoms in family members which may indicate a rotavirus infection. It is a list of some questions, completing usually takes less than one minute.
When symptoms fit a possible rotavirus infection you automatically get (through the app) additional questions about the severity of the symptoms and the possible source of infection. This will be a short questionnaire to the severity of the symptoms from the 1st day to which the complaints arise to be filled in for 7 days.
