This app allows the user to search, add, manage places and explore nearby possibilities and accomplish the desired needs. This app is powered by Google location-based services.
User can perform following
- Search any place in the world by address or by name.
- Searched/Selected place can be added to the list, which could be tracked and managed.
- Each added location will have distance calculated from the device's current location.
- The user can explore the nearby possibilities by distance.
- Each possibility will show website link, phone number if available. Also, shows distance in miles and driving time if possible, from the device's current location.
- Use Google Map or Navigate option to launch respective apps on the device.
This app can be used in more than one way, can be used as a trip planner, trip organizer, and trip history. The places added will be stored on the device for later review.
New release has a few subtle but significant feature enhancement,s which will make the app more usable
1) Current Location item will now show nearest street name as well.
2) Non US countries will show the distance in Kilometers(Kms).
3) Nearby places has a new filter with flashing border, to enable filter the list based on the available choices.
