The free 2nd edition DMHS Suicide Prevention App builds on the previous version by adding such useful features as a daily mood tracker, a problem-solving tool, the ability to create a personalized safety plan and more. It still contains all of the useful information from the 1st edition (including guidance on “Where to Start and What to Ask” for people concerned about someone in their life), in a more welcoming and interactive framework. It also provides a direct link to crisis support through DMHS’ C.A.L.L. (Crisis Access Linkage Line) along with information on many other resources local to Durham Region, Ontario.
