Yetav is a real time ride sharing app. It’s the only app, which provides a perfect algorithm to find a travel-buddy for auto pool, car pool and bike pool.
The highlighting feature of the app is ‘passengers can connect to other passengers -going in a same direction’ and then they can ride any auto or cab. This is extremely helpful for the people, who generally prefer to travel by public transport and fed up of rush. Further, Yetav’s ‘distance cost calculator’ will help the passengers to determine the amount to be contributed. The initiator in the group can collect the cash from co-passengers and finally pay for the hired vehicle i.e. auto or a cab.
Yetav, is also featured with car pooling concept. It shows the real time passengers and vehicles going in various directions. The set algorithm helps you to find the vehicle (if you are passenger) or passenger (if you are vehicle owner) going in your desired direction; where you can give the lift or take the lift. Vehicle owners do not have to take any change in driving directions to pick up anyone. Buddy passengers will join at the pre-decided spot.
Yetav ‘distance cost calculator’ will show the approximate charges to be paid to vehicle owner. Passengers as well as vehicle owners can alter the offered or expected amount. But note that, if passenger keeps the offer on lower side and vehicle owners keep the expectations on higher side; it will definitely reduce the chances of getting the rides. Yetav, is not a profit sharing app at all. It is made with the clear intention that people going on the same directions can meet and share the cost, which will in turn helps to save the fuel and finally the environment.
Yetav also clearely shows the current distance of buddy passenger from the travel starting point. This will help you to take decision of requesting a buddy or not.
You may receive a buddy request from the person, ‘who is ready to accept your contribution’ or you can send a request just by clicking ‘request’ button to the ‘person you wish to travel with. Further, you can accept or reject the buddy request received by you. Buddy request clearly shows the amount and to-fro places of sender and receiver. You can cancel the request at any point of time.
Yetav, app will show the name of the co-passenger and organization/college. One can verify the co-passenger by clicking on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn details. There is absolutely no need to travel with a person with whom you are not comfortable. You can cancel the request at any time.
Keeping safety in the mind of female passengers, Yetav, gives a absolute safe-mode option only to female passengers. Female passengers can click on the option of ‘Female buddies’; so they can see and can be seen only by female passengers.
