A Pousada das Missões é um complexo de edificações implantadas sobre um terreno com área de aproximadamente 2.400m2 em área de pequeno aclive, ao lado do sítio arqueológico de São Miguel das Missões.
Numa área construída de 1.453.26m2, com espaços de convivência localizados na área frontal do prédio, e unidades de apartamentos distribuídas em duas alas, a norte e a sul, a 450 em direção ao fundo do terreno.
O plano de tematização para a pousada tem o objetivo de estabelecer entre os diversos espaços e o visitante uma relação de leitura e apreensão a partir de elementos relacionados a alma e essência deste lugar, envolvendo-o em um novo universo de experiências.
Toda a paisagem na região das Missões, tem de alguma forma um valor místico atribuído, por ter sido transformada inicialmente com a contribuição de nativos vinculados ao mundo guarani do Século XVI e pela apropriação do universo tátil que esta natureza proporcionava. Nos vários layers de história estão todas as transformações e momentos que configuraram a paisagem rural e urbana que temos hoje, nos seus aspectos físicos, socio-econômicos e culturais.
A tematização contempla, exatamente isto, tudo o que está entre o céu e a terra e que essencialmente participou na configuração do meio que temos hoje.
The Mission Inn is a complex of buildings implemented on a plot of about 2.400m2 area in small slope area, next to the archaeological site of the San Miguel Mission.
In an area 1.453.26m2 constructed with living spaces located in the front area of the building and apartment units distributed in two wings, north and south, 450 towards the terrain background.
The theming plan for the inn aims to establish between the various spaces and the visitor a reading and apprehension relationship from elements related to the soul and essence of this place, enveloping him in a new experience of the universe.
The whole landscape in the region of the Missions, has somehow a mystical value assigned, having been initially transformed with the native contribution linked to the world Guarani of the sixteenth century and the appropriation of the tactile universe that nature provided. The various layers of history are all transformations and moments that shaped the rural and urban landscape we have today, in their physical, socio-economic and cultural.
The theming includes, exactly, all that is between heaven and earth and essentially participated in the shaping of the environment we have today.
