En el año terrestre 3381 las primeras señales de radio enviadas por nuestra especie alcanzaron el sistema estelar Tabby. Tras sospechar los Tabbisianos que en el Sistema Solar podrían existir esclavos inteligentes, han decidido enviar una flota de inspección a la Tierra.
Con su ingeniería avanzada han creado un agujero de gusano en el tejido espacio-temporal entre su sistema y el nuestro, que se ha abierto en el Sistema Solar exterior, en la Nube de Oort.
Tras su visita a la Tierra han decidido volver a Tabbi para informar de que sus sospechas eran ciertas. Por suerte sus naves no tienen equipados hiperpropulsores y solo pueden moverse a velocidad sub-luz, por lo que se ha enviado la nave terrícola “Alx”, la única con un prototipo de hiperpropulsor, a que espere en el portal su llegada.
Si no logra destruir todas las naves Tabbisianas…
