Przemyśl – miasto kultur to trasa przekrojowa, eklektyczna, akcentuje wielokulturowość Przemyśla, wpisując się w liczne idee i inicjatywy promowania miasta jako miejsca konwergencji kultur. It includes The Tatar Mound, sacral buildings (including the building of the former synagogue), Przemyśl cemeteries (including Jewish and military ones), as well as other numerous monuments and artifacts related to the presence of the Jewish and Ukrainian minorities. Particular emphasis was put on the history of the Jewish minority in Przemyśl from the time of Sigismund Augustus (who gave the Przemyśl Jews privileges, allowing free settlement and running a business), through the mass murder of the Jewish population in 1939, up to the present day. The reference to the times of the Austrian partition is, of course, the figure of Švejk, ie a monument-bench commemorating the figure from Jaroslav Hašek's novel, located on the Przemyśl market square.
