Some apps, especially news apps, add additional text oder advertising to the webaddress you want to share. With "Edit and Share" you can see what an app wants to share and edit it.
Also you can get the coordinates from the metadata (EXIF) in photos you took with your smartphone. Create a GEO-URI or a link to Google Maps from this data. You can share this link or open a map or a public transport timetable pointing to the exact latitude and longitude.
Please note: The usecase for public transport was tested with the timetable app of the German railway company "Deutsche Bahn AG". Open the GEO-URI you get from "Edit and Share" with this timetable app and you even get the footpath from the nearest railway station oder bus stop to this exact coordinates. It is not known if this does also work with the timetable apps of other companies.
