El proyecto Boyacá Previene - Colombia Previene es una planilla virtual georreferenciada enfocada a registrar la ubicación de personas en lugares donde exista aglomeración de personas y cuando aparezca una persona infectada se pueda determinar con la información recolectada que personas estuvieron cerca y así poder tomar acciones preventivas con ellas. Únicamente se almacenará la información correspondiente al Número de Cédula, coordenadas geográficas, hora de lectura y descripción del lugar de captura y solo se usará esa información para el seguimiento de posible contagiados. Su despliegue es nacional ya que la Cédula de Ciudadanía es igual para todos los colombianos, siendo esta el único modo de registro.
Lo ideal seria que se usara en bancos, almacenes, hospitales, terminales de transporte, taxis y cualquier sitio en el que exista aglomeración de personas.
Esta aplicación no es un método de rastreo o seguimiento de personas ya que solo registrará que una persona estuvo en determinado lugar, nada más. Es una planilla virtual donde las personas la firman leyendo con el dispositivo el código de barras de la cedula.
Este proyecto es una aporte gratuito de la empresa privada y puede ser utilizado por cualquier persona para aportar información y por cualquier institución oficial del país para consultarla de manera gratuita, previo a tener credenciales de acceso.
