The Kenya Auto Bazaar Association (K.A.B.A.) was formed and registered in 1997 under the Society’s Act of the laws of Kenya. Its main aim was to lobby for the interests of the second-hand motor vehicle importers who were under serious threat from the new motor vehicle franchise holders and assemblers.
The two groups had been influencing Kenya government policy formulators with a view to enjoying total market share.
THE SUNDAY CAR BAZAAR
The Association has also been running a very successful weekly car bazaar. They are held (EVERY SUNDAY) in Nairobi at the Jamhuri Grounds covering an area of 3 square hectares (30,000 square meters).
We usually have over 1,500 cars on display and more than 3,000 walk in customers.
