Korn is an American heavy metal music group formed in Bakersfield, California, United States. in 1993. The band's current formation includes four members: Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and Ray Luzier. This band was formed after L.A.P.D. broke up (the previous 3 member Korn band).
Korn was formed in 1993, the same year when they released their first demo album, Neidermeyer's Mind. The album features two former members of Korn, Brian "Head" Welch and David Silveria. Their debut album, Korn, was released in 1994, where they performed the same musicians on the album Neidermeyer's Mind. Korn began recording Life Is Peachy in April 1996, and was released on October 15, 1996. Album Follow The Leader became Korn's main musical style breakthrough
