If the console is not set to use Windows Media Center, by pressing the button will start the Windows Media Center Setup Wizard.
Inserting the hex code for your TV, you can also control the volume.
** If the app starts, but the xbox does not respond to commands:
Try to go into the Xbox media remote setting and toggle the switches.
Remove the thin protective film of IR port on it.

Simply didn't work. I have an lg G5 and can control pretty much any IR device but it doesn't have xbox settings. Tried this app. Didn't work at all. Refunded straight away. Shame really m had high hopes.

If I could give 0 stars I would. It doesn't do anything AT ALL. I installed this as the xbox 360 controller has broken, figured this was an easy alternative so I can use the xbox to watch Netflix again. But nope. Don't bother downloading.

Awesome! I honestly got this so i didnt have to get up turn my controller on an push play when watching movies.

The only good thing is that it is cheaper than a replacement controller. Does what it is supposed to do for the most part. It is ugly as hell. It switches to landscape for no reason and goes into a different level of ugliness. But saved me some money.

The remote was working fine for about a week, and then all of a sudden stopped. I turned my phone off and back on, but still did not work. I uninstalled and now am trying to reinstall but it's not installing. Plz fix it because I paid for it, and I can't seem to request a refund.

I had to think twice before purchasing this app.. and it works with my Note 3 kinda old but it freaking works flawlessly man 👍 I didn't lose my money!
