WHY DO I NEED JODABLE?
To make lots of boy or girl friends in your own caste. Why do that? To increase your chances of having a happy love marriage without fighting with your parents.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You see cards with profiles of boys or girls. No names or caste names. You swipe the card (left or right doesn't matter) to find out if he/she belongs to your caste or not.
If it's someone from a different caste, the card goes away. If it's someone from your caste (or a similar caste) magic happens. Your phone vibrates and you'll see a celebration screen with the profile of that person, including his/her caste name, and an option to say hi.
Whether it's the boy or the girl who says hi first, the girl first gets to know the name of the boy and his parents but the boy doesn't. If she then wants to proceed, she sends her name and her parents' names and opens the chat line.
WHAT'S A HI?
It's like a hi in real life, but with a slight twist. Boys disclose their names and parents' names to girls while saying hi, but girls don't.
DO I NEED JODABLE PREMIUM?
Jodable is 100% free to use if you're a girl. If you're a boy, Jodable is free within limits and we have very reasonable premium plans available for purchase if you cross those limits.
CAN I GO CASTE-NO-BAR?
Sure. Actually, girls are in the caste-no-bar mode by default. This means they can say hi to boys even without knowing the caste of the boy. Boys need to be on a premium plan and buy the caste-no-bar add-on to do the same.
IS JODABLE FOR EVERY INDIAN?
Yes. Castes exist in all the religions of India, not only Hinduism, and our intention is to serve all of them. We use the terms "caste" and "community" interchangeably. If yours isn't on our list, please email us.
