Description of My APPy Places

This is an app that puts together text, email and pictures taken with your smartphone for various avails according to to the user’s imagination: to see again secret, special or thrilling places; share a meeting place; to create a gallery of images on your phone
of places, things and people supplied with notes that are always available and that are archived automatically according to the date when the picture was taken.
Its functioning is very simple: take a geolocalised picture with your smartphone, and complete it with a short text linked to the use you want to make of it.
You can file it on to your home computer in an album full of special memories, georeferenced with Google Map. As for the gallery on your app, it will help you find these places again anytime you want.
Integrated in the GPS of your smartphone, it will tell you when you go near a place where you took a picture with a pop-up and a sound to let you know at what distance you stand from the magic place.
Every picture taken is supplied with the latitute and longitude of the location, with an approximation of 10-15 meters. Therefore, you can create a precise map of all the places to remember. You can find them again years after, with the all the data, the sensations, the emotions that you set in the text months or years before. You can create a customised album of your travels annotated with dates, numbers, names on the pictures.
If you’re a pragmatic sort of person, and you find yourself in a forest, you would write: « Here I have found magnificent porcini mushrooms»; or if you’re on a boat, off shore, you could note: «here, looking towards the Point of Farrel, I did an amazing fishing». Then you can you send it to yourself or to a friend by email.
If you decide to get married in an usual place or to invite friends and family for a wedding meal in an outback location, you can take a picture of the place and send the geographic coordinates: with their smartphones, your guests cannot get lost.
