Overall this app does not operate very smoothly, as others have said. However, my greatest issue with the app was the very poor integration of location data. While located in the sacred valley, my nearby list was dominated by species from the madre de dios region. This should be an easy improvement to make, since developers already have ranges of all birds as well as the user's location. Also, the range maps would be better if they showered the users location.

Great app! Very similar to the book with extra identification tools. Very easy to carry around in the field and having bird sounds with me as a reference to bird call identification is amazing!

Least user friendly app I have on my phone. Takes forever to open and when switching screens. Smart search doesn't work anymore. Needs some serious improvement.
