Description of FORScan Lite

FORScan Lite application was developed specially for a computer diagnostic of Ford, Mazda, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles.
Requirements and limitations:
- ELM327 or compatible OBDII adapter with Bluetooth, WiFi or USB interface.
- Recommended adapters: OBDLink MX , vLinker FD BT.
- Attention: vehicles other than Ford, Mazda, Lincoln and Mercury are not supported!
- Attention: application will not work with ELM327 clones of poor quality!
- Attention: application doesn't contain any configuration and programming functions!
Features:
- Analyzing an on-board network configuration of the connected vehicle.
- Read and reset diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) for all modules.
- Read sensors and other data (PIDs) from all modules.
- Running manufacturer-specific functions, including tests and service functions.

  1st problem: Every time you need to reconnect to your vehicle and everything is correctly set up you have to first connect using a different OBDII app otherwise a connection error occurs with this one. 2nd problem: Very very low data refresh rate. All the other OBDII car diagnostic phone tools/apps that I've used have a decent refresh rate of the live data. This one makes it almost impossible to see data spikes or peaks.

  A couple of weeks in with this app and a VLinkerFD connected to my '05 F150 FX4 with zero issues or complaints. Full functionality.

  Works (limited) with BAFX $20 module, atleast in the 10 minutes I just played with it. I'll know more in the next few days. Way better than alot of other OBD apps.. Got the Windows version, which does WAY more. Both are definitely worth the 1 time cost. "Forscan (dot) org for the windows version. To do more, you'll need a better obd2 device than a $20 BAFX unit....
