This is by far easiest, no frills, free flashlight app available on google play store! New features include the ability to lock your phone screen, and have the light stay on. You can even minimize the app, and keep the light on in the background. Screen is black when the light is off... and yellow when its allowing this handy little app to work on phones that don't have a flash available.
