Postpoint is an app that lets you know, share, and indicate a location. It is based on a unique digital addressing system which currently covers the entire surface area of Cameroon and assigns each 5x5 square meters a unique address called a digital address.
Thanks to this system, every land, institution, hospital, property, etc. has a unique address. The system also takes into account places where no name has been assigned, such as rural areas, forests, water bodies within the boundaries of Cameroon, which now have their own unique addresses.
An example of a digital address: DL5-0477-2375
This address is made up of a 3-letter prefix, presents the initials of a district by 360 in Cameroon and a series of numbers.
The initials DL5 present the Sub-Division of Douala 5 and the digits specify the exact location of the 5x5 square meters in Douala 5.
