It's too old, no update, not work any more.(08/2018) After 6 months passed, installed again, (03/04/19) installed again, still only display "initializing"

Was awesome now it's broken, this app did two things perfectly, told me the network I was connected to, and touching the button brought me directly to the wifi connection menu. Simple things, but real time savers, hard to believe that the os makes this often performed task take so many steps. (for a Samsung- drag down page, select settings, select connections, select wifi). now that it's not working I can't believe how many times I actually used it, please fix!

Unobtrusive. Easy to see status of wifi if something goes wrong. Otherwise it's just there on whichever screen you want.

Confirm: Great APP .. but broken since Jan 2 2019. Looks like it was updated to support Oreo 8.1 that requires Location Permissions to get SSID ? In the process, it was messed up for Oreo 8.0 and below. Hope you get it fixed soon ... and working again on Oreo 8.0 !!

Does what it says. Two suggestions: (1) Offer a 1x1 widget. (2) Indicate whether the connection is 2.4 or 5 GHz.
