Description of Securus Mobile

The Securus Mobile app now requires Android 5.0 or higher. Please update to the latest version.
The app provides the following features to easily setup and manage our incarcerated connection services:
• Create a Securus Online account (required for app and website access)
• Change password and 4 digit passcode
• Setup security questions for easy password reset
Video Connect®
• Enroll in Video Connect, schedule a video session with an incarcerated individual remotely from anywhere in the world where you have Wi-Fi or cellular data service at all Securus sites that offer Video Connect.
• Access and view your upcoming scheduled video sessions
• Sync details of upcoming video sessions with your calendar
• Receive notifications for upcoming video sessions
• Manage photos for identification, view transaction history and manage credit/debit cards
• Test Wi-Fi/cellular connection to determine quality of Video Connect
*For best results and to reduce echo, use a headset or ear buds with microphone for Video Connect
Prepaid Calling Account Management for You
AdvanceConnect – fund this account to receive calls to the phone numbers you choose from your contact. You can:
• Enroll and add funds to AdvanceConnect account to always be ready for a call
• Select a call subscription package (where available)
• See available funds
• Add or change phone numbers that can receive calls
• View call details and transaction summary
• View the last call attempt to a number
• Block or unblock calls
• Enroll in AutoPay or TextPay
• Update or change credit/debit card information
Securus Debit – deposit funds to this account for your contact to use for:
• Calling any number they choose
• Purchase music, games and movies for their tablet
• Schedule and pay for a Video Connect session
• Purchase stamps to send eMessages and eCards

  Update: everything will work fine for a couple days, then when I think the bugs are gone, BOOM, visit quits halfway through. Then an error message saying some random B.S. about server issues or contacts issues or whatever. I have an excellent wifi signal. I have the newest version of the app. There are no available visits for the following day by 2:30pm. Overcrowding I get that. This app worked great when I first opened an account. Seems always has issues in the last few minutes. Or totally.BS

  I hate this app!!! Wish they never switched from jpay!! App never wants to sign in, I dont get messages till the next day after my husband sends them. Not only do you charge for stamps you charge an additional 3 dollars. I cant add money to my husbands account cause you still say he is a jpay facility when he is not anymore. GOD how I wish he was still jpay facility

  I was not able to upload and image after signing up. It kept saying that and error occurred and that I should try again. A better description would be useful. I was able to get around it by logging through the browser and accepting. Please improve this part.

  This is convenient and most of the time it works but the past month has been hot in miss to it not allowing me to logging in on app or the online website so have missed quite a few visits this month . Not sure what's going on when like I said app worked good before.

  Can't create an account tried on a computer and this app. I keep getting unable to register at this time. Call the help line an i sit on hold for up to a hour then just give up and hang up.

  I have never liked this app at all. I have used it many times but it was never this bad. I keep scheduling visits and they will send me an email and say it was set up. Then I go back in and there are no visits I go back in again and there are my 3 visits again. I keep getting emails that say the jail cancelled them. I went to buy my friend a phone card and spoke to someone at the jail and they said it is Secures I wish they would just use JPay that app is awesome
