Description of Rainy Days Rain Radar

If you have questions, problems, feedback, please send me an email.
Rainy Days shows you weather radar doppler observations from multiple sources on a fully interactive map. You can zoom in, pan and search for locations.
Rainy Days uses multiple sources of data, not one map for the whole world. This gives you the most recent data for your location. Therefore, Rainy Days works best when zooming in to your local area.
Rainy Days uses real doppler observations and only falls back to satellite sourced data for areas without any doppler radars present.
Predict the weather with Rainy Days: see how storms are moving to see if they are heading for you.
Coverage: Europe, Scandinavia, USA incl Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Africa, Australia
Note: shows rain (radar reflectivity), not clouds!
If something is not working on your device, please send me an email, adding a comment doesn't give me enough information to fix any bugs!

What's New with Rainy Days Rain Radar 3.1.16

This used to be my favorite weather radar app but there is apparently a problem with the radar server. Radar data no longer loads and you just get a blank map. When it works it is the best though. (Updated: Hugo apparently fixed the problem. Working well now.)

User for many years. I would give 5 stars but just now I received the most annoying popup imaginable. I understand you need to ask about cookies. I understand you present an "accept all" button. But I do not want to give consent to anyone. That means clicking and scrolling through a near endless list, unchecking a gazillion boxes. Give the user also a "deny all" button please. I understand the reason you don't, but I hate it. Present me the popup 1 more time and your app is gone from my phone!

I loved this app for years and use it as a showpiece on old tablets on a bookshelf, etc. Until the ads started appearing in the main window. ALLOW ME TO PAY TO OPT OUT. I hate looking at this thing with ads in the way.

I would give rainy days a 5 star review, bc I love the app, but now it wants to give your personal data to like 200 data aggregators - NO THANKS!! Having paid and ad supported options is fine, but it's just a radar app - stay out of people's personal data!

I have had this app across my entire android life, 15+ yrs. It is my go to app for 2 hours of rain radar. All other apps are an hour at best.
