PodAlarm lets you use your favourite podcast, audiobook or music app as your daily alarm.
Choose the app you want to start playing, set the the alarm time, go to sleep..
It's that simple :)
At the alarm time your chosen app will start playing, gradually increasing the volume from 0 to your regular alarm volume to gently wake you from sleep..

Love the concept, wish it worked better. I'm unable to use my "sleep timer" in my audio apps to fall asleep, because then PodAlarm won't work in the morning. If I forget to open, play, stop, the audio app before falling asleep PodAlarm won't work. So while I enjoy using podcasts to wake me up, this app could use some improvements. If it's really important that you wake up, I wouldn't trust it to this alarm. Update: the volume no longer works, so it only pays the audio at a very low level.

Requires another application to be selected to play audio. On my android 10 it did not work.

It's a good idea but it only works half the time... I always set everything up the night before by readying audible to play and testing the alarm, but by morning it often doesn't work, not sure why! It would also be much more helpful to be able to edit the amount of time it takes to fade in volume of the podcast, as at the moment it takes way too long so that by the time the volume is enough to hear you've missed part of your audiobook/podcast.

Uninstalled it because it doesn't give a selection of podcasts. Only gives a choice of different apps already installed in my phone.

Works well with Apple Music. If there was only a way it could be made to work with Google Podcast...
