  I love this app, it takes a little time to get used to and the learning curve is steep but once you get the hang of it the only thing you'll touch on the head unit is the volume.

  Happy with Smart Sync overall, but there are a couple nagging issues. The "shortcut buttons" can no longer be turned off, for some reason. Even though the radio button in settings is in the off position and is greyed out. Also - really need the ability to display folders when browsing music stored on the phone, similar to how it works when browsing USB storage that's plugged into the head unit. It's annoying that the file browser doesn't remember the last folder browsed, when using USB storage.

  The app itself is reasonable its major flaw is battery usage when not docked. I'm finding it is using 25% plus of my phone battery. Would suggest forcing the app to stop and telling phone app to go to sleep in settings. Come on Pioneer give us the option to launch the when its needed. I only drive for 2-3 hours in a week yet its running 24/7.

  I cannot describe in words how irritating is having to deal with this application every day. Not only the application, but the whole spotify experience is blunted with connectivity issues and poorly designed interactivity. Once in a while the phone connects via spotify, horray! Still, I have to take the phone out of my pocket everytime I want to like a song. Yes, the most important interaction tool in spotify does not have a dedicated button in my expensive pionner unit. Amatuers.

  Its a good compliment to the stereo when it connects, i would say it only connects 1 in 4 times so that needs to be looked into
