Direct contact with a physician
At NorrDoktor, the medical visit takes place over the Internet and operates around the clock. NorrDoktor's physicians use all available technologies in communication with the patient. The technique is fully used to diagnose an adequate and future treatment. NorrDoktor is a registered healthcare provider and is covered by the Health Care Act, the Personal Data Act, the Patient Data Act and the Patient Safety Act.
NorrDoktor's doctors examine the patient's health problems and makes a diagnosis. The patient receives help at NorrDoktor. If necessary, the patient is referred to another doctor or clinic. NorrDoktor can refer to any of the 600 sampling and testing centers that NorrDoktor cooperates with.
Medical certificates and prescriptions
If necessary, NorrDoktor's doctors may issue medical certificates. It is also very easy to get prescriptions for treatment at NorrDoktor. The patients may also renew their prescriptions by contacting NorrDoktor.
The patient does not have long waiting times to get in touch with a doctor, which often is the case in overcrowded waiting rooms with other sick help seekers. Instead of being exposed to this, the patient will easily and quickly contact NorrDoktor via our app.
Who can become a patient at NorrDoktor?
The person who is 18 years old needs his own BankID to log in and seek care. At NorrDoktor, the patient can also take a photo of his approved photo ID and use it, as can be done at a physical care center (Vårdcentral). This information is not accessible to anyone other than NorrDoktor, as it is encrypted.
Medical visits via NorrDoktor can apply to both children and adults. Often, children need a quick diagnosis and treatment, which NorrDoktor's doctors are prepared for around the clock.
Cost
Medical visits are free as long as you are under the age of 20, for others 250 SEK. Visiting a midwife or renewing a prescribed medication costs 150 SEK, regardless of age. The patient pays with an invoice that is sent when the doctor or midwife has completed the consultation.
