Description of Nearpod

Nearpod is an award-winning instructional software that engages students with interactive learning experiences. With Nearpod, students have the ability to participate in lessons that contain virtual reality, 3D objects, PhET simulations and so much more. Interactive software features empower student voice through activities like open ended questions, polls, quizzes, collaborative boards and more! Students will learn while having fun.
How Nearpod works:
1. Students join synchronous learning experiences led by their teachers or learn at their own pace.
2. Learning experiences are created by teachers or selected from a catalogue of over 6,500 experiences found in the Nearpod lesson library.
3. Students contribute instantaneous feedback through assessment features such as quizzes, open-ended questions, polls, drawing tools, and more.
4. Students are introduced to content through dynamic multimedia that includes VR Field trips, 3D objects, PhET simulations, BBC videos, Microsoft Sways and more.

  Decent, but I have a few issues. This is honestly way better on a PC. Whenever I try to launch the app on mobile I get stuck on the login where I'm given a choice to select office 365 or Google. This makes class harder for me to participate in because it's pretty much a requirement to have my phone in order to use nearpod and I would appreciate it greatly if this was ever fixed. Thanks.

  I've downloaded this app multiple times and it still gets my phone stuck. My child has not been able to complete their school work with this app. I do believe that there is a bug that needs to be corrected.

  The application does not work, and if it works it is super slow or it takes you out of the application. It is better, use it from google chrome.

  This app works well in IOS but not in Android, it looks no updates done by the developers since 2018. Not able to access images for upload by students.

  I have an 8 year old autistic son that is schooled online. We can end up spending a ton of time in front of the computer doing school work and it can be hard to keep him focused. Luckily, the majority of his lessons are of Nearpod variety and with the app he can work on those lessons from the phone if he gets annoyed or impatient in front of the computer screen. We have been using Nearpod in general for the past year and a half and I've never once experienced any type of glitch or error. Thx NP!

  Wish I could give 0 stars, I use this and it's really important for me as my teachers only use this frickin app and it starts loading and and never stops loading, the never opens properly. DEVELOPERS PLS FIX THIS.
