Description of KEF Stream

This app allows you to play music content up to 192kHz/24bit resolution over Wi-Fi to your LS50 Wireless and LSX. Together with the KEF Control app, you can have full control over your speaker system.
Key features:
• Stream music from your local Library, Media Servers, TIDAL, and Spotify Connect.
• Create and save custom playlists
Note: to play Apple Music purchased from iTunes store (this excludes Apple Music Streaming Service) and your own music collection imported to your iTunes Library, you must first download it offline to your device before you can stream it to the LS50 Wireless.
If you experience any issues with the app, please use the Send Feedback option in Settings > About with a short description of the issue you are encountering.

  Streaming using the DLNA protocol is quite impossible. Songs stop playing in the middle of the track or doesn't switch to the next song on the playlist. Something more enraging? It works fine with air play, or using a raspberry pi as DLNA Receiver, network isn't the problem! I would say that compatibility with Android is a bad joke.

  Finally figured it out why these speakers are streaming was so poorly... I never would have thought of my router is being too far for the speakers cos I have 2 smart tvs and the first generation chromcast, they are all streaming nicely in evey corner of my home. These speakers need a direct path to the router. Work fine now with the help of a repeater. Hoever the app is so primitive, dont play mp4 or other formats. No browsing folder capability.

  Please add Tidal Connect or re-write this entire App ground up. The 15-20 seconds lag in between tracks and lag when adjusting volume really kills the "Wireless" experience.

  The LSX speakers are great, but the apps (why 2 of them??) are absolutely awful. KEF should stick to making great hardware and license BlueOS to give a user experience worthy of the sizeable price tag that their speakers carry.

  Please, please do something with the app and make it stable. It is such a shame that playing master quality from tidal has to be a pain. :(
