I've made a lot of bad decisions in my life, buying this is one of them. I wish I could return this camera even for half its price. The UX is terrible, I have constantly to switch between a network with an internet connection and the camera just to update its firmware. Used insta360 player to play some of my videos on a SD Card, it couldn't locate the folder. There was that time I took a video, in the middle of the recording the camera froze, I held the power button but it didn't work. Smh.

Lacking. Only can save video to internal storage. If you use an SD card on your phone your out of luck.

Cannot connect at all. Only ask to restart camera all the time. As soon as WIFI gets connected to camera, it requests Internet access again to "activate" (whatever is there to activate?!). So far useless, but full of commercials... Update: App has problems with routing tables if several connections are enabled. Disable mobile data while using. Now camera connects. App is working now with basic recording and export functionality. Settings for camera are lost on power-cycle. This should be an option IMHO. So to be fair: 1star -> 4stars as it "now works as intended" but there are this left to be desired (especially the persistent settings feature). Definitely a good start though ;) Update 2: I noticed someone complaining that camera's SD card cannot be accessed via USB. I just noticed that this does not work for me as well, if I use the supplied USB-cable. The shipped cable only leads to USB errors. Another of my cables just works find and make the device a usb-storage device as any other SD-card reader. HTH

I had no problems connecting the camera to the phone but it's so annoying that the camera doesn't remember your settings so you have to connect to the phone to put your settings back on every time you turn the camera off. Most of the time I want to record from the camera but not with default settings.
