Description of HSL - tickets & route planner

With the HSL app you can buy tickets for Helsinki region public transport, find the best routes and get targeted traffic information. In the HSL app you will find e.g. single, day and season tickets for both adults and children. Bus, train, metro, tram and ferry – all with the same app. You can pay easily e.g. with a payment card.
In addition to tickets, there is also a journey planner in the HSL app. Journey planner tells you e.g. the best route and the ticket, which is needed for the route. In the HSL app, you can also see up-to-date transport information for the areas and lines you have selected.

  My purchased tickets on the app disappear every now and then and I have to buy a new one. Sometimes only after a few minutes. I have contacted HSL and I was told that someone will contact me to help me fix the problem and reimburse the extra tickets I purchased but I only got an email with useless technical info. Yesterday I tried to buy a ticket many times and it failed but everytime 2.8 EUR was taken from my account. I'm going back to use the old fashioned travel card.

  Wont start at all. Android 8. Says internet con ection required ans I have via wifi and mobiledata. This issue has been around for a while without fix.

  I cannot buy ab ticket this morning and again today!! 08.10.2020 This app is starting to be untrustfull/ unreliable, second time in 2weeks cannot purchase Ab ticket👎

  Usually works fine, but sometimes due to the holidays or events the app can be overloaded.

  I cant link my hsl card with this app. There should be option to add, recharge and see hsl card details as well. Additionally if card is already have an active ticket or subscription app should confirm before booking the ticket.
