With bookshelf features, farmers can download the agriculture and livestock books for free directly to their smartphones.
3. Farming as a business
The vision of the Greenovator is for the farmers to view and manage their farms as sustainable businesses so the team has been trying to connect the farmers with the agricultural businesses. Firstly, Asein Yone Mat Tan (digital farm management solution) is the tool to record farmers’ daily activities and expenses which later calculate the profit and loss from their farm. Moreover, the commercial version of Asein Yone Mat Tan connects farmers with contract farming business which makes the contract farming business can manage their business much easier than before. Farmers can use Zay Tan Gyi (marketplace) feature for buying the required agricultural inputs and selling their crops.
Input calculator is a supporting feature for the farmers to know how much input he/she needs to grow a crop and can send the order directly to the nearby agro dealer shops. Farmers can also check daily crop market prices from different townships. Last but not least, a fishing record is a feature for the fish farmers to record their daily catch per unit and income.
