¿QUÉ ES ALTER ECO?
Alter Eco es un programa europeo del programa Interreg MED, liderado por el Instituto Valenciano de la Edificación (IVE), en representación de la Conselleria de Vivienda, Obras Públicas y Vertebración del Territorio, que tiene como objeto reforzar el desarrollo local sostenible del turismo, promoviendo la Identidad Mediterránea a través de la implementación de estrategias turísticas alternativas en 6 pilotos co-diseñados e implementados por actores públicos y privados
El objeto del proyecto Alter Eco es encontrar un equilibrio entre la actividad turística, como una de las principales fuentes económicas, y la conservación del modelo clásico de ciudad mediterránea como ejemplo de sostenibilidad económica, medioambiental y social disminuyendo la huella ecológica del turismo. Para ello, se propone el desarrollo de estrategias alternativas de turismo sostenible que responderán a los problemas identificados en cada una de las regiones participantes en el proyecto.
¿QUÉ ES EL GANDÍA TOUR&PLAY?
En el marco de dicho proyecto se ha desarrollado la aplicación Gandia Tour&Play, que aplica técnicas de gamificación y realidad aumentada para guiar al visitante en 3 zonas del municipio de Gandia: la playa, el centro histórico y el entorno natural, así como sus fiestas, con el objetivo de dinamizar la actividad turística en estas zonas.
La app geolocaliza los recursos e infraestructuras en las zonas para provocar, mediante dinámicas de juego, que los visitantes los conozcan. El turista recorre una serie de localizaciones donde debe cumplir determinadas misiones. Gracias al mapa 3D puede guiarse y localizar las misiones repartidas por el lugar a visitar.
GUÍA COMPLETA
• Localización de puntos de interés turísticos sobre el mapa: centros de interpretación, palacios, monumentos, etc
• Incorporación de información asociada a esos recursos: textos, fotos, videos, fotos 360, enlaces, valoraciones, etc.
• Posibilidad de compartir esa información en redes sociales.
AGENDA DE EVENTOS
• Agenda integrada con toda la información de Gandía y eventos de interés geolocalizados sobre el mapa.
MODO JUEGO
• A los puntos de interés se les asocian misiones, para incentivar la interacción del usuario con el entorno, como juegos de realidad aumentada.
• Al cumplir las misiones se obtienen puntos que permiten subir de nivel para estar en lo más alto de la clasificación.
• Además, se pueden conseguir trofeos (virtuales) y regalos (físicos)
• A través de diferentes rutas, el turista visita una serie de localizaciones predefinidas, donde debe cumplir determinadas misiones. Sólo se pueden cumplir si se está físicamente en el lugar.
• Gracias a los mapas en 2D y 3D puede guiarse y localizar las misiones repartidas por la zona a visitar. Éstas pueden estar ubicadas en lugares de interés y/o puntos patrocinados con todo tipo de información multimedia asociada.

Cada misión puede contener diferentes objetivos:

WHAT IS ALTER ECO?
Alter Eco is a European program of the Interreg MED program, led by the Valencian Institute of Building (IVE), on behalf of the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Vertebration of the Territory, which aims to strengthen the sustainable local development of tourism, promoting the Mediterranean Identity through the implementation of alternative tourism strategies in 6 pilots co-designed and implemented by public and private actors
 
The aim of the Alter Eco project is to find a balance between tourism activity, as one of the main economic sources, and the conservation of the classic Mediterranean city model as an example of economic, environmental and social sustainability by reducing the ecological footprint of tourism. To do this, it is proposed to develop alternative sustainable tourism strategies that will respond to the problems identified in each of the regions participating in the project.
 
WHAT IS THE GANDÍA TOUR & PLAY?
Within the framework of this project, the Gandia Tour & Play application has been developed, which applies gamification and augmented reality techniques to guide the visitor in 3 areas of Gandia: the beach, the historic center and the natural environment, as well as its festivities, with the aim of boosting tourism activity in these areas.
 
The app geolocates the resources and infrastructures in the areas to provoke, through game dynamics, the visitors to know them. The tourist goes through a series of locations where he must fulfill certain missions. Thanks to the 3D map you can guide yourself and locate the missions spread around the place to visit.
COMPLETE GUIDE

EVENTS CALENDAR
