As soon as I opened it for the first time, it told me the status in Cape Town. I live in Johannesburg. It didn't ask me about using location permissions to figure out where I am, and there was nothing in the immediate settings to do that. I mean, location can be slightly off, but immediately presenting me with a city 1 400 km away is enough to uninstall. Also, only had notifications for Load Shedding turned on. Never seen one. But tonight for an alert that the president will talk about COVID-19

Most recently the app has not been accurate, whereas previously it was almost always bang on target. Have made all sorts of preparations for load shedding, scheduled for this evening, according the app. But now still enjoying electricity .... not sure whether to be annoyed or glad :)

Why isn't there an option to pin drop the exact area that you are in? Eg, when I'm at work I want to pin drop that exact area, because searching for the area it does not come up. My work address is Golf Air Park, Cnr Robert Sobukwe Road and Palloti road. I have loaded Matroosfortein & Airport Industria, Cape Town but it's neither of those its under Nooitgedagt, but that won't come up. Very frustrating.

Always just used the Eskom loadshedding website but tired of being caught napping. Only had this app one day and loving the forewarning. Another star would be for finding my suburb instead of having to use a neighbourhood's suburb. The FInal star would be for a map to choose a location where I'm headed but only know a street address, or the suburb's not found.

The app itself is invaluable. But, the fact that it requires real-time use of internet can render it useless during active loadshedding when the cell-signal disappears. I would strongly suggest a function that allows you to download the times for your group and keep them on the app instead of having to take screen-shots and hope the times don't change.

I found this app very useful. Transparency is an issue. It is never truly clear what to expect, with the ridiculous emojis and "not loadshedding right now" declarations whilst the schedule stipulates loadshedding in mere minutes. It would be helpful to have the correct information without the condescending contradictions. Thank you, in advance.
