- Accurately map Canberra's treasures, maintaining records for future generations.
- Improve public education and awareness of the diversity and significance of Canberra's Nature Parks.
- Influence development decisions and on the ground outcomes by providing critical distribution data to the ACT Government Conservation Planning and Research unit and the CSIRO Atlas of Living Australia.
